Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana Eligibility Criteria

Following eligibility criteria is mandatory for women who want to take the benefit of monthly financial assistance under Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana:

• Applicant Women must reside permanently in the state of Madhya Pradesh.
• Ladli Behna scheme is primarily for married women. However widowed, divorced, and single women are also eligible for this scheme.
• Applicant’s age should be between 21 Years to 60 Years.

Who are not eligible for Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana?

• The woman whose self-declared annual family income exceeds Rs. 2.5 Lakhs.
• The Woman or any other family member who pays Income Tax.
• The Woman or any other family member who is employed permanently or under a contract in any central / state govt Job or their undertaking companies, or who received pension after retirement from the Job.
• The Woman or any of her family member who possess the Four-Wheeler Vehicle (Other Than Tractor)
• The Woman or any of her family members who have a total agricultural land more than 5.0 Acres
• The woman who is already getting Rs 1250 monthly or more from any other government schemes.
• The Woman or any of her family members who is nominated / selected by the central / state government for the position of the President, Director or Member of any Board, Corporation and Nigam.
• The woman or her family member who is currently serving / served in the past as a Member of Parliament / Member of Legislative Assembly.
• The woman or her family member who is elected public representative in local bodies (Other than Sarpanch and Deputy Sarpanch).
